I have a “come as you are” approach to counseling, believing deeply in each individual’s worth and right to a life defined by what is personally important. My commitment is to empower clients with a strong therapeutic relationship and effective skills to reach their goals. I believe that people grow and heal when they experience consistent acceptance and safety. For this reason, creating an environment of unconditional positive regard is one my most important tasks as a psychotherapist. This quality creates a place where clients feel secure enough to gain a better understanding of themselves and take manageable steps towards becoming the people they were meant to be.

My clinical experience has given particular attention to empowering victims of abuse and marginalization to regain personal power. My pursuit of wholeness and healing constantly expands my compassion to include greater varieties of relational wounds in my treatment repertoire, including abuse of spirit, gender, race, and sexual orientation. I am proud to offer safe, affirmative therapy for the LGBTQIA population with a unique sensitivity to spiritual issues.

In order to offer clients the option of a deeper level of healing, I am a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. This work allows clients to experience the gentle shifting of the unconscious into awareness that is known as hypnosis. This state of heightened awareness facilitates the release of toxic emotions and change of stubborn habits. Age regression allows for the healing of wounds that occurred at any stage of development.
